Born and raised in Singapore, Aubrey’s love for animals was cultivated through growing up in an environment where animals were a part of the family. Aubrey’s journey in the veterinary industry started when she graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Veterinary Bioscience. She then furthered her studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Animal Health from Murdoch University.
Working as a veterinary nurse in Singapore for 4 years, she rotated between being a nurse, receptionist, and laboratory assistant, which allowed her to develop her skills in patient care as well as clinic management and client communication. Aubrey hopes to be able to further expand her knowledge working here in BC to better be able to make a difference in our patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Aubrey enjoys being in the company of her 2 dogs, Riley and Windsor, and also spends her time bonding with and riding her horse Milly, her latest addition, and one day hopes to pursue eventing with her. Additionally, Aubrey and her cousin share the responsibility of caring for their pair of guinea pigs, Lemongrass and Capybara.”
