Dr. Christiane Pfaender

Christiane (Jane) is originally from Germany where she studied veterinary medicine. After falling in love with Canada during an Internship, she completed the Canadian Veterinary Exams and started work at Aldor Veterinary Clinic in 1996, bought the practice in 2003 and worked there for many years before selling to have some more time for her family and hobby farm where she lives with her husband, son, 3 cats and anywhere from 5 to 13 cows. Farm and garden work fill most of her days but there is always a little time for photography, hiking and reading.

Joining the wonderful team at Aldergrove Animal Hospital in 2022 is a great way of being semi retired but still part of the veterinary community, enjoying helping patients have long and healthy lives with their families
